Entrepreneurship is a new trend. People want to become entrepreneurs, but they don’t know what an entrepreneur does and the reality of entrepreneurship.

The word entrepreneur has been highly used in the last few years, every high school or college student wants to become an entrepreneur, but they don’t know the harsh reality of entrepreneurship.

People think that if they start a start-up, they have to work for a few hours and then money starts coming passively. But it is not valid.

So, here I will tell you the harsh reality of entrepreneurship that you should know.

ENTREPRENEUR VS SUCCESSFUL ENTREPRENEUR

Most start-up owners want to call themselves a founder or CEO. But there is a lot of difference between an entrepreneur or a successful entrepreneur.

You can register a company in 5-7K and call yourself a founder and CEO, but the real entrepreneurs don’t focus on their name; they concentrate on their work.

For example, if you play gully cricket, you will play in an Indian cricket team.

IT COSTS DOUBLE & TWICE AS YOU THINK

Every new start-up owner and entrepreneur has a raw estimation of how much money and time they have to invest to achieve break-even.

But there are a lot of unexpected problems that will consume your extra time and money. People with no or less business sense don’t think that every new start-up takes your time or money double & twice as you feel.

THERE WILL BE NO HANGING OUT & CHILL

A business is not what you think, most people think if they start a business, they don’t have to work a lot, invest a few hours, and an income begins passively.

But it is not like that, and there will be no chill and hanging out with your friends and family if you start a business.

If you raise funding for your business, then you don’t even have time to eat peacefully. That much pressure you have to show results.

YOU DON’T HAVE AN UNIQUE IDEA

In this modern digital era, there are 99.99% chances that someone has the same unique idea as you have, and probably he/she is executing better than you.

So if someone is performing the same as you, then you have to give something extra value to prevent competition in the future.

YOU ARE EVERYTHING

If you start your business, then you don’t have the workforce. You are the CEO, and this is not Chief Executive Officer. CEO means Chief Everything Officer.

If you are the only one working on a start-up, you have to do everything from top to bottom.

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR FAILURE

If you start a business, you are the reason for your success and failure. You will be hugely responsible for your loss.

If you fail, there will be various excuses that you have a shortage of money and all that, but in the end, you will be hugely responsible for your success and failure.

People can give you sympathy, but the truth remains that you are the one responsible for your failure.

Here I just talked about the reality of entrepreneurship: what you think about entrepreneurship and your opinion on this. Please share your feedback with us.

Thanks all.
